Viewing a database
A database node in BMC Discovery represents a logical database. Databases are set up automatically by the BMC Discovery process.
Before BMC Discovery 11.2 databases were modeled using database detail nodes. Logical databases are now stored in dedicated Database nodes allowing simple separation of databases from other database details.
The following topics are covered in this section:
To view a database
- From the main menu, select Explore > Data.
- In the Software & Databases section, click Databases.
- Select a database from the list.
The details of the database that you selected are displayed in a new page, as displayed in the following screenshot.
