Mainframe node

A Mainframe node represents a mainframe computer Central Electronic Complex (CEC) or Central Processing Complex (CPC).

Mainframe node lifecycle

The following section describes the scenarios in which a Mainframe node is created, updated, or removed.

Creation/update

Mainframe nodes are created and updated in exactly the same way as Host nodes.

Removal

Mainframe nodes are removed in exactly the same way as Host nodes.

If true, the Mainframe is supported by a third party. Legacy attribute not currently used. Can be used by patterns if desired.
