Enabling and testing the CyberArk integration

After you configure the connection from BMC Discovery to the CyberArk Vault (safe), you need to enable and test the integration. You can perform this task using the BMC Discovery UI.

Before you begin

Ensure that you configure appliances to access the CyberArk Vault.

To enable and test the CyberArk integration

1. To enable the integration, switch to the BMC Discovery window where you have created the integration.

2. In the CyberArk Integration field, click Enable.

3. Click Test to verify whether the integration has successfully completed.

4. Enter a CyberArk query to test whether you can access credentials in the CyberArk Vault and click Test.
   For more information about how to create a query, see Configuring BMC Discovery to use CyberArk credentials.
   
   

   The CyberArk query must return only one credential. If more than one credential is matched, CyberArk returns an error message, which is displayed in the Test CyberArk Query dialog.
