Netadmin User Changes

From BMC Discovery 11.1 patch 5, you can no longer remotely log in using the netadmin user. Should you need the netadmin account, you can either log in as the root user and use the netadmin account as described in the netadmin user documentation; or alternatively login as root and set a new password for the netadmin user to allow console access.

the 11.1.0.1 patch is not reflected in the naming on epd site, still says 11.1.00 but if downloading eg the upgrade file i get the latest 11.1.0.1 file

     Hi Roland,

On EPD, although the name is given as "BMC Discovery 11.1.00" you can see the version number displayed correctly in the version column.

    Thanks, Duncan.

Does Discovery v11.1.05 include the latest OS upgrades: ADDM_OS_Upgrade_64_6.17.05.08_693916_ga.sh.gz, or do we need to apply the OS upgrade as well??

Where can we find details of the security fixes in patch 6?

    DRUD1-21085, DRUD1-21299, DRUD1-21404

We do not publish details of security fixes in order to protect customers who have yet to upgrade. We do publish the IDs so that where they were initially raised by a 3rd party they can see the conclusion.
