Search and Reporting Service

This section describes the Searching and Reporting service of BMC Atrium Discovery. It is intended for software developers and users who are familiar with BMC Atrium Discovery, including details of the data model and taxonomy, and a knowledge of query languages such as SQL. The searching and reporting service provides a high-level mechanism for retrieving data stored in the datastore. It is mainly driven by a query language that specifies which nodes to retrieve, and the attributes of those nodes to display. It describes how to enter search queries and then provides reference to the query language itself.
