This function has been deprecated from TPL 1.6/BMC Atrium Discovery 8.3 in favor of Returns the Host node corresponding to the given node. The given node can be any directly discovered data node, or a SoftwareInstance or BusinessApplicationInstance. If more than one Host is related to the given node (for example a BusinessApplicationInstance spread across multiple Hosts), an arbitrary one of the Hosts is returned.

Name clash

The function, with a lower-case "h" has an unfortunate clash with model.Host with an upper-case "H", which creates or updates an existing Host node. Be sure to use with correct capitalisation. Since patterns are not normally responsible for maintaining Host nodes, the system issues a warning if model.Host is used.
