Appliance Hardware Platforms

BMC Atrium Discovery is no longer supplied on physical platforms, it is supplied as a virtual appliance which is described in the Virtual Appliance section, or as a kickstart DVD which can be installed onto your own hardware.

The BMC Atrium Discovery appliance platforms are:

  • Dell PowerEdge R710
  • HP ProLiant DL380 G6 (Intel)
  • Other x86-64 based hardware that is supported by Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4 (64-bit only). Your hardware must equal or exceed the specification of the HP Proliant DL380 G6 hardware previously shipped as a hardware appliance.

A facility for installation on a 32 bit machine is not available.

The HP ProLiant DL380 G6 is no longer produced by Hewlett Packard.
