Troubleshooting the BMC AppZone configuration
BMC AppZone can be integrated with BMC Digital Workplace so that users can use it to request software and hardware.
BMC AppZone is a legacy feature. Starting with MyIT 3.3, integration of BMC AppZone is not supported for a fresh installation of MyIT (or BMC Digital Workplace). If you are upgrading to the current version of BMC Digital Workplace from a version earlier than MyIT 3.3, BMC AppZone will be available only if you have enabled and integrated it prior to the upgrade.
As a replacement for BMC AppZone, you can evaluate the broad set of capabilities provided by BMC Digital Workplace Catalog.
If BMC AppZone was enabled and integrated prior to the upgrade to BMC Digital Workplace 3.3.02, but BMC AppZone does not appear in BMC Digital Workplace, perform the following checks:
- Ensure that BMC AppZone is enabled in Administration Console > Configuration > Enable Features. For more information, see Enabling end user features.
- Verify that BMC Appzone is configured correctly. For more information, see from the MyIT 3.2 online documentation.
- From the Universal Client or the Apple iOS or Google Android app, log off, clear the cache, and log on again.
