Assigning administrator permissions

Administrators can grant or restrict access to the areas of the MyIT Administration Console for other administrator.

The list of administrators is imported from BMC Remedy Action Request System (BMC Remedy AR System) and consists of users who belong to the MyIT Admin group. For more information about assigning MyIT administration permissions to BMC Remedy AR System users, see Setting up administrator authentication.

To modify the categories administrators can access

  1. From the MyIT Administration Console (http://server:port/ux/admin), select More > Access Control.
  2. Select or clear the appropriate check boxes next to the user names in the table.
  3. Click Update All.
