Downloading the BMC Digital Workplace Catalog installation files
You obtain the product installation files by downloading them from the BMC Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) website. Your ability to access product pages on the EPD website is determined by the license purchased by your company.
The following topics describe options for downloading the installation files for BMC Digital Workplace Catalog, that provides the enhanced catalog for BMC Digital Workplace.

When to download a service pack or patch
For a fresh installation or an upgrade, check the Release notes to determine the latest update and then download the following:
- The latest release, service pack, or patch (if available). For service packs and patches, the BMC Digital Workplace Catalog installer will install the full product.
- Any hotfixes that are available for known issues.
If you sign up for , you will be notified about new service packs or patches for applying the latest changes, as well as bulletins about critical fixes.
Installation and integration files

Remedy IT Service Management Integration Configuration Patch Version 1.1.00
This archive contains the files to integrate a Remedy application, such as BMC Approval Central or Service Request Management, with BMC Digital Workplace Catalog. The archive contains integration scripts for both a Windows or Linux server.
Download this file to the target Remedy AR System server where approvals will be processed.
To obtain direct links to download the application files
The time to download the BMC Digital Workplace Catalog installation archive by using a web browser will vary based on your internet connection. The browser displays a single folder, even when multiple files are selected.
- Click the folder name to open the file list. Each of the file names contains a direct link to download the chosen file. Right-click the file name to copy the link to your clipboard. Use the file link when downloading the files.
To download the BMC Digital Workplace Catalog installer from the command line
The application installer is a large file that you can more efficiently download by using the wget command. The wget command is available on Linux computers. You can find a version of the wget command that is compatible with Windows computers.
The following example shows how to use wget from the command line to download a file in the background.
wget -b <paste the clipboard contents that contain the ftp link copied into the clipboard>
To download the Remedy application integration script by using a web browser
The integration configuration archive is a reasonable size that you can download to either a Windows or Linux server by using a web browser. To download the the file, paste the clipboard contents into the web browser location bar.
To verify the files
Locate the files you downloaded and verify the MD5 checksum results before installation.
You can use any MD5 checksum tool to verify the checksum results.
