Integrating BMC Digital Workplace Catalog service requests with Smart IT

   To enable a Remedy with Smart IT agent to search for services and make requests on behalf of a customer we need to configure host domains in DWP. These are actually URLs and not domains according the syntax. It doesn't seem to work here. Is this the URL of the Smart IT user interface? Is hostname:port sufficient or should we include a path depending on the config? Do we need to specify the port if it is the default port? Will this URL be called from the webbrowser the user is running?

      Thanks for your comment, Jan Sierens. You bring up some valid points. We will validate this and get back to you with a response and update on this topic.

      (Update added on 1/20) We need to add the base URI of the Remedy with Smart IT application, paths and port numbers are not required. This value should match the smartit.url configured in the Remedy mid-tier.
