Upgrade worksheet for BMC Digital Workplace Catalog

Before you can upgrade BMC Digital Workplace Catalog, review this worksheet with your IT department to capture the information about the existing installation. You will copy the values from this worksheet into a configuration options text file that the upgrade installer uses.

For a version of this worksheet file that you can edit on your local machine and then upload to the BMC Digital Workplace Catalog server, see Example options.txt file for upgrade.

Specify the server's role. Supported values are:

  • master for single instance server or primary node (default)
  • slave for each secondary server in the cluster

Specify the path to the existing Oracle Java or OpenJDK installation.

BMC Digital Workplace Catalog server instance name

Specify the machine name of the computer on which BMC Digital Workplace Catalog is installed. If your current installation is in a cluster, specify the cluster name as the value for this parameter.

Specify the fully qualified domain name or IP address of the computer on which BMC Digital Workplace Catalog is installed.
