Downloading the BMC Digital Workplace Catalog upgrade files
You obtain the product upgrade files by downloading them from the BMC Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) website. Your ability to access product pages on the EPD website is determined by the license your company purchased.
The topic describes downloading the upgrade files for BMC Digital Workplace Catalog, which provides the enhanced catalog for BMC Digital Workplace.
Before you begin
This topic is part of the Upgrading BMC Digital Workplace Catalog process. The previous step in this process is to prepare a system for a BMC Digital Workplace upgrade.
When to download a service pack or patch
For a fresh installation or an upgrade, check the Release notes to determine the latest update and then download the following items:
- The latest release, service pack, or patch (if available). For service packs and patches, the BMC Digital Workplace Catalog installer installs the full product
- Any hotfixes that are available for known issues

If you are using an Oracle database and upgrading to BMC Digital Workplace 19.11, we recommend that you deploy the hot fix available at /DWPCatalog/20.02_Oracleupgradefix/ on the BMC Digital Workplace FTP location listed in

Upgrade files
The following table describes the files on the EPD website that you must download. Access to the EPD website requires that you provide your BMC Support credentials. You might also be prompted to complete or confirm the Export Compliance Form.
