Platform support

This topic describes the supported operating systems for BMC Decision Support for Server Automation. These operating systems must be installed on the reports server on which BMC Decision Support for Server Automation is installed.

Oracle database deployments

For deployments with an Oracle database, the following platforms are supported with BMC Decision Support for Server Automation:

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 7 (x86-64)
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6 Update 3 and later updates (x86-64) 
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5 Update 8 and later updates (x86-64)
• SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP2 and later service packs (x86-64)
• Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 (x86-64)
• Windows Server 2012 (x86-64)
• Windows Server 2008 R2 (x86-64)
• Windows Server 2008 (x86, x86-64)

Microsoft SQL Server deployments

For deployments with a Microsoft SQL Server database, the following platforms are supported with BMC Decision Support for Server Automation:

• Windows Server 2012 R2 (x86-64)
• Windows Server 2012 (x86-64)
• Windows Server 2008 R2 (x86-64)
• Windows Server 2008 (x86, x86-64)
