Configuring Inventory reporting

BMC Decision Support for Server Automation provides templates for Inventory report data collection and scripts for agent log data collection, ETL, and archival processes. To use these templates and scripts, obtain them from the BDSSAInstallationDirectory/bsa/content_installer directory and create BMC Server Automation jobs. For a list of inventory templates and instructions about installing the templates and scripts, see BMC-Decision-Support-for-Server-Automation-inventory-templates and Installing-Inventory-templates-and-other-scripts.

This section provides information about deploying Inventory templates for customers who want to use the enhanced Inventory reporting provided in BMC Decision Support for Server Automation version 8.8.
