Add New Site page
The Add New Site page enables you to configure the following parameters to add a new BMC Server Automation site for reporting:
Field definitions
Field | Description |
---|---|
Host Name | Host name or IP address of the BMC Server Automation database server |
Port | Port number on which the BMC Server Automation database server listens |
SID (Oracle) or Database Name (SQL Server) | Service ID or name for the BMC Server Automation database |
User Name | BMC Server Automation database user name |
Password | Password for the BMC Server Automation database user |
Confirm Password | Confirmed password for the BMC Server Automation database user |
Site Name | Name by which a BMC Server Automation database is referenced in BMC Decision Support for Server Automation |
ETL Cutoff Period (In months) | Number of months for which you want the data to be transferred from the BMC Server Automation database to the reports data warehouse Minimum value: 3 This field enables you to control the amount of data that is transferred to the reports data warehouse for the first time. This approach limits the amount of historical data that is loaded into the reports data warehouse and potentially reduces the duration of the first extract, transform, and load (ETL) run. For more information about planning the initial ETL run, see Planning the initial ETL run. |
