Sample Job Activity report with filters and charts
The following example demonstrates how to create a Job Activity report that provides a graphical view of the number of servers on which a job was run.

To create a Job Activity report with filters and charts
- Launch Query Studio from the BMC Decision Support for Server Automation portal.
- Select a package (for example, BladeLogic) from the list of available packages.
- Click the Run Report link.
- Click the Preview with No Data link.
- Click the Insert Data link.
- Open the Job Activity folder and drag the following query item to the right pane: Job/Job Name.
- Apply a filter on the Job Name column with the Hardware Info Snapshot value selected.
- Drag the following query items to the right pane:
- Job Runs/Job Run Start Time
- Job Activity Calculations/# Servers Attempted
- Create a line chart that plots job run start time against the number of servers on which a job was run.
- Click the Run Report link.
- Click the Run with All Data link.
- Save the report.
