Managing sites and the reports data warehouse

BMC Decision Support for Server Automation sites and the reports data warehouse are set up during configuration. After configuration, you can make changes to your sites and the reports data warehouse.

You can use the BMC Decision Support for Server Automation Console to view sites, add a site, modify a site, and modify the reports data warehouse parameters.

To manage the BMC Decision Support for Server Automation sites

  1. Launch the BMC Decision Support for Server Automation Console, as described in Accessing the console.
  2. To view sites, click Configuration > Database Details.
    The Site Details section shows details of the primary and other sites.
  3. To add a site, see Adding sites.
  4. To modify a site, complete the following steps:
    1. In the Site Details section, click the Modify button  next to the site that you want to modify.
    2. On the Modify Site Details page, modify the parameters.
    3. Click Update.
      The Last Task Details page confirms whether the details were modified successfully. 

      Note

      Click Reset to revert to the previous settings.



To modify the reports data warehouse database parameters

  1. Launch the BMC Decision Support for Server Automation Console, as described in Accessing the console.
  2. Click Configuration > Database Details.
  3. In the Database Details section, click the Modify button in the Warehouse Database row.
  4. On the Modify Warehouse Database Details page, modify the parameters.
  5. Click Update.
    The Last Task Details page confirms whether the details were modified successfully.

    Note

    Click Reset to revert to the previous settings.
