Installation process overview

For a standard configuration, a fresh installation takes approximately 30 minutes. This time does not include the preinstallation tasks, such as setting up your databases, and postinstallation tasks, such as product configuration, running extract, transform, and load (ETL), or downloading content. The time required for the preinstallation and postinstallation tasks varies based upon your environment. The initial ETL run can take a long time.
