Changing multiple databases

To change connection string parameters (such as host name, port, or instance name) in multiple databases (reports data warehouse, portal, and ETL repositories) at one time, use the postinstallation reconfiguration wizard available in the BMC Decision Support for Server Automation Console.

Note

If you want to change the database schema, then restore the backup copies of the portal database and reports data warehouse and use the restored databases while using the postinstallation reconfiguration wizard.
