Accessing links in PDF-formatted reports

To successfully access linked data in reports using PDF format, ensure that the Gateway, External, Internal, and Content Manager URLs use a fully-qualified server name, as shown in the following example:

http://<serverName>.<domainName>.com:9300/p2pd/servlet/dispatch

If the URLs do not use a fully-qualified server name, an error occurs when you click a link in reports that are displayed in PDF format.

To specify a fully-qualified server name for these URLs, use the IBM Cognos Configuration tool as described in the IBM Cognos Business Intelligence Installation and Configuration Guide.
