8.9.02.004: Patch 4 for Service Pack 2

This topic contains information about updates in this patch, and provides instructions for downloading and installing the patch.

Enhanced Content Deployment utility

In versions 8.9.02.003, 8.9.02.002, 8.9.02.001 and 8.9.02, the user information is not transferred to the SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence (BI) Platform from the data warehouse by the User Role Group (URG) Mapper utility, and you need to create user accounts in Central Management Console to implement access control.

In version 8.9.02.004, the Content Deployment utility is enhanced to create the URG Mapper utility on the BusinessObjects BI Platform. When the Content Deployment utility is executed successfully, a task named bds_urgmapper_tsk is created. This task transfers user information to the BusinessObjects BI Platform from the data warehouse. For more information, see the Running the Content Deployment utility
