User roles

This topic provides an overview of user roles and how they interact with the product. It details how the user roles in an organization align with the roles and groups defined in the BMC Decision Support – Database Automation product.

The following table describes typical user roles and tasks performed by users in those roles. The roles defined in the User role in an organization column map to the BDS-DA Administrators group and the BMC Database Automation user with the View Reports capability role in BMC Decision Support – Database Automation.
