DBD Library Search Member List panel


Database Integrity displays the results of the search on the DBD Library Search Member List panel (see the following figure).

From this panel, you can select a DBD to disassemble, and from the DBD Source panel, you can access other control block tasks (such as mapping, reporting, and so on.)

Field

Description

DBDLIB

The name of the DBD library containing the listed members.

OPT

Option. Type S or / to select a member to disassemble.

DBD NAME

The names of the DBDs that met your search criteria.

SIZE

Size in bytes of the assembled DBD module

GEN DATE-TIME

The date and time the DBD was generated, in the format mm/dd/yy hh.mm, where

mm

Month of the year (1-12)

dd

Day of the year (1-31)

yy

Last two digits of the year

hh

Hour (00-23)

mm

Minute (00-59)

LEVEL

The version, release, and maintenance level of the IMS system under which the DBD was generated.

ACCESS METHOD

The DL/I organization and operating system access methods defined in the DBD.

You can use the following command on the DBD Library Search Member List panel:

Locate

Position the member list at the specified item. Enter LOCATE item or L item on the Command line, where item is the name of the entity you want to locate.



 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
