About mapping control blocks

Database Integrity can map the database segments and their hierarchical relationships as they are defined in a DBD, PSB, ACB, or DIR.

The maps follow the standard hierarchical conventions (top to bottom, left to right). You can display the maps on any terminal and print them on any printer; graphics capability is not required.

When you map segments through the ISPF interface, you can select segments for redisplay in a restructured map. The restructured map shows only the selected segments and their parent segments. If the control block is a DBD, you can press a function key to have Database Integrity generate PSB source statements that define the displayed map.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
