External Java Requirement

November 11, 2022: Starting with the October 2022 product update, Helix Control-M requires an external JRE when you install or upgrade your Agents, Control-M MFT, and Plug-ins. To ensure that Java remains updated, JRE deliveries are now decoupled from Control-M and are no longer part of the installation. This reduces installation size and enables you to use the JRE that is common within your organization.

You must ensure that Java 11 (version 11.0.12 – 11.0.xx) is available on the Control-M/Agent host machines.
