Kerberos SSO Authentication for Control-M Desktop and CCM Deprecation
Version: 9.0.21.200
8 March 2022: BMC is alerting you to a change in support in accordance with the BMC Software Product Support Policy.
As of version 9.0.21, Control-M allows you to authenticate with an Identity Provider (IdP) based on SAML 2.0, allowing SSO and multi-factor authentication. If you are currently using Kerberos SSO for authentication, BMC recommends that you implement IdP via SAML 2.0 authentication for Control-M users instead. For more information, see Configuring Authentication with an IdP.
Therefore, from Control-M version 9.0.21.200, Active Directory Kerberos SSO Authentication for Control-M Desktop and CCM is deprecated; support will be discontinued in Control-M 9.0.22.
