Installing Control-M for Airflow Patch PAKD1.9.0.21.001 on UNIX
This procedure describes how to install Control-M for Airflow Patch PAKD1.9.0.21.001 on UNIX.
Before You Begin
- Verify that Control-M for Airflow 9.0.21 is installed.
- Verify that Control-M jobs are not running on the Agent.
Begin
- Download the installation package from the Patches tab at Control-M for Airflow.
- Log in to the Agent account where Control-M for Airflow is installed, and copy the installation package to a temporary directory on your local hard drive (not a network drive).
- Stop the Control-M/Agent by typing the following command:
shut-ag - Navigate to the temporary folder where you downloaded the patch.
- Run the following command:
PAKD1.9.0.21.001_Linux-x86_64_INSTALL.BIN To configure Control-M for Airflow to work with Google Composer 2, add the following parameter to the AgentDir/data/AFL.dat file:
COMPOSER_VERSION 2- Start the Control-M/Agent by typing the following command:
start-ag

- Log in to the Agent account where Control-M for Airflow is installed.
- Stop the Control-M/Agent in Windows Services.
- From the Task Manager, verify that the Agent AM process (p_ctmam.exe) is not running. If it is running, end the process.
- From the Control Panel, select Program and Features.
- Select CONTROL-M for Airflow 9.0.21.001 and click Uninstall.
- Start the Control-M/Agent in Windows Services.
