This procedure describes how to install Control-M/Agent patch PAKAI.9.0.21.201 on Windows.
Before You Begin
- Verify that Control-M/Agent 9.0.21.200 is installed.
- Verify that Control-M jobs are not running on the Control-M/Agent.
Begin
- Download the installation package from Control-M/Agent 9.0.21 Patches.
- Log in to the account where Control-M/Agent is installed, copy the installation package to a temporary directory on your local hard drive (not a network drive), and then extract the package.
- Run the following command:
<temporary directory>\PAKAI.9.0.21.201_windows_x86_64.exe - If you have changed the Agent configuration to bypass the issues that are resolved by this patch, do the following to revert to the default configuration after applying the patch:
- In the Windows registry, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BMC Software\Control-M/Agent\WIN
- Set SOCKET_AM_AS_COM to a value of N.
