Mirroring SmartSwitch rules

You can mirror rules from a SmartSwitch view to one or more subsystems. For example, you can mirror a set of rules that you verified on a test subsystem to all of your production subsystems. The mirroring process transfers all SmartSwitch rules to the target subsystems and replaces the rules that reside on the target subsystems.

To mirror SmartSwitch rules

New console
  1. In the Product Tools perspective, select a SmartSwitch view.
  2. Click MIrror all rules NW_book_arrow.png.

    Tip

  3. In the Mirror DB2 Utility SmartSwitch Settings dialog box, perform the following tasks:
    1. In the Name field, accept the default name, or provide a name for the deployment.
The name can contain up to 50 characters, including all printable ASCII characters.
    2. Select one or more Db2 subsystem connections as targets for the deployment.
