Copying data

Use the following procedure to copy data from the results pane to the clipboard.

To copy data

New console

Select or create a Db2 object view that contains the object or objects that you want to copy.
For more information, see Creating a Db2 object view.
Navigate to and select your source object or objects.
For more information, see Navigating to an object.
Perform one of the following tasks:
- To copy all objects in the view, right-click anywhere in the results pane and select Select All; then right-click and select Copy.
- To copy specific objects, select one or more object entries, right-click, and select Copy.
You can now paste the data directly into a file or a spreadsheet application such as the Microsoft Excel application. The data automatically contains the column names.

Classic console

Select or create a Db2 object view that contains the object or objects that you want to copy.
