Comparing Db2 schemas


If you have a license for the 

BMC AMI Database Administration for Db2

 solution, you can use 

BMC AMI Command Center

 to compare two sets of data structures. The objects can reside in a Db2 catalog or a DDL file.

The comparison process enables you to perform the following tasks:

  • Record changes made to a local or remote subsystem
  • Understand structure changes between two subsystems to help you determine which changes to migrate
