What's changed in the new My Cloud Services Console

BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management 4.5 or later presents a new and improved console for the end users to request cloud services. 

Using the My Cloud Services console

The following table illustrates the actions that you would perform on the old My Cloud Services Console and now on the new My Cloud Services Console.

Request a cloud service

My Cloud Services Console > New Service Request >
select the service offering that you want and click .

Select your options and click Submit to submit a request.

In the Catalog tab of the My Cloud Services console,
click the service offering that you want and add all the details.

Click Add to cart to add this service to your cart and
then click Proceed to checkout and then Submit Request.

You can, simultaneously add more services in the cart
before proceeding to check out.

Start ServiceSelect a service offering instance, and click Start .Select a service, and click to select Start Service.
Stop/Shutdown ServiceSelect a service offering instance, and click Stop .Select a service, and click to select Stop Service.
Decommission ServiceSelect a service offering instance, and click Decommission Select a service, and click to select Decommission Service.
Restart ServiceSelect a service offering instance, and click Restart .Select a service, and click to select Restart Service.
SynchronizeSelect a service offering instance, and click Synchronize .Select a service, and click to select Synchronize Service.
Share ServiceSelect a service offering instance, and click Share Service .

Open the Team page of a service, search for a user to add to the service and click
Update Team to add the user to the service.

The user gets added as a Team Member.

Transfer OwnershipSelect a service offering instance, and click Transfer Ownership .

Open the Team page of a service and next to the name of the team member
who will be the new owner, click 
Team Member and select Make Owner.

After you click Update Team, the user is now the new owner of the service.

View QuotaClick View My Quota .On the new UI, click My Quota Availability .

Start ServerSelect the server and click Start .Select a server, and click to select Start Server.
Stop ServerSelect the server and click Stop .Select a server, and click to select Stop Server.
Connect To ServerSelect the server and click Remote Connect .Select a server, and click   to select Connect To Server.
SynchronizeSelect the server and click Synchronize .Select a server, and click   to select Synchronize.
Shutdown ServerSelect the server and click Shutdown .Select a server, and click   to select Stop Server.
Restart Server Select a server, and click   to select Restart Server.
