Registering the IBM Bluemix Infrastructure provider instance

Before BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management can use a third-party Resource provider overview, you must register an instance of that resource provider. When you register the IBM Bluemix Infrastructure (formerly IBM SoftLayer) provider instance by using the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management console, you specify configuration values that enable communication between the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management application and the IBM Bluemix Infrastructure cloud provider. Typically, this configuration is a one-time task in the infrastructure-configuration process for the IBM Bluemix Infrastructure provider.

This topic explains how to register, unregister, and edit the IBM Bluemix Infrastructure provider instance.
