Submitting the requestable offering for Amazon Web Services

After the service has been created, and the service offering has been defined, the offering is available for end users.

Note

For a list of the default option choices that can be enabled for end user offerings, see Defining Service Catalog entries for Amazon Web Services.

To submit an Amazon Web Services (AWS) service offering instance

  1. In the Service Instances workspace, access the Service Catalog tab, browse to view the available Cloud Services requests, and select one to request.
In this example, a service called VPC Bronze 1T is requested, which requests a single tier AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) to be provisioned.
  2. Click Request Now to open the Submit Request dialog box, and enter your selections in the fields.

  3. Click Next to view the summary.
  4. Click Submit to initiate the service offering request.

You can view the status of the service request under the Services subtab of the Activities tab. Also, go to your Amazon Account and verify that VM was created successfully.
