Creating resource pools

You must add resources to an administrator-created resource pool before the resources can be used in the cloud. 

Depending on the type of resource pool you are creating, you can:

• Create compute resource pools, such as pools of servers or virtual clusters
• Creating platform-as-a-service (PaaS) resource pools, such as pools of databases
