Monitoring BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management license capacity

The License Capacity dashboard provides information about the provisioned virtual machines (VMs) in your environment.

To view the License Capacity Dashboard

  1. In the My Cloud Services console, select Dashboards > License Capacity.
The License Capacity dashboard opens. By default, the dashboard shows data for the previous and current months.

    Note

There is a mismatch between old and new license reports. This is because the old license report used to display the count is based on data collected from Cloud-AR and Enterprise-AR, which did not include a count for DSO failures. The new license report gathers data only from Cloud-AR and thus provides an accurate count.

A table below the graph shows detailed data for each month.

  2. Optionally, select a different time span:
    1. Click the time span field next to the License Capacity title.
The Change Duration dialog box opens.

    2. Select a span of time using the From and To fields, and then click OK.
  3. If you want to export the data to a PDF file, click Export to pdf.

    Tip

If you want to load matrix continuously and to fetch the report from Cloud End User Portal ((also called the My Cloud Services console, the End User Portal, or clmui), ensure that the value of the EnableMetricBootstrapping flag is set to True in providers.json file.
