Product installation sequence for HA installation

Install the Primary Enterprise AR System Server.

The following steps provide an overview of the product installation sequence for high availability (HA) Installation:

  1. Install the Primary Enterprise AR System Server.
  2. Install the Primary and Secondary Mid tier (dependence with Primary Enterprise AR System Server but not mandatory).
  3. Install the Primary Atrium Web Register (dependence with Primary Enterprise AR System Server).
  4. Install Primary BMC Server Automation (File Server, Primary BMC Server Automation and MAS) (dependence with Primary Enterprise AR System Server).
  5. If you want to install BMC Atrium Orchestrator -HA with Access Manager in HA, then you must manually install BMC Atrium Orchestrator (CDP+AM, HACDP+AM and Repo).
  6. Install the Primary and Secondary BMC Network Automation (dependence with Atrium Web but not mandatory).
  7. Install the Primary Cloud Extension.
  8. Install the Primary Platform Manager (dependence with Cloud Extension).
  9. Install the Primary Portal Extension (dependence with BMC Atrium Orchestrator and Platform Manager).
  10. Install the Secondary Enterprise AR System Server.

  11. Install the Secondary Portal Extension (dependence with Primary Portal Extension).

  12. If you require BMC Capacity Optimization (BCO) in your environment, manually install and integrate BCO.
  13. Secondary Atrium Web Registry should be installed manually.
  14. Install Secondary BMC Server Automation.
  15. Install the Secondary BMC Network Automation (dependence with Atrium Web but not mandatory).
  16. Secondary Platform Manager installation is not required; instead services need to be created manually.
