Installing PXE for HA

Before you begin the PXE installation:

  • Ensure that Microsoft Windows.Net framework installed on target machine.
  • Ensure that IIS compatibility installed on target machine.
  • Ensure the DHCP server is ready.

To proceed with the PXE installation for HA:

  1. In the Workload Tier, specify PXE Server name. 
  2. Specify the BMC Server Automation Application Server database information same that was mentioned during BMC Server Automation Server installation.
  3. Specify the PXE option information.
  4. Specify the TFTP server Information.
  5. Follow all the instructions to Install the PXE Server.
