Configuring the BMC Remedy Mid Tier
After upgrading, perform the following steps to configure the BMC Remedy Mid Tier (mid tier):
- From the Services window, stop and then restart the Tomcat service.
- Navigate to the CloudBackPlugin subdirectory and delete the contents of the folder.
- On Windows, go to C:\Program Files\BMC Software\ARSystem\midtier\PluginsCache\<ARSystemHostName>\CloudCallBackPlugin.
- On Linux, go to opt/ BMC Software/ ARSystem/midtier/PluginCacheARHOSTName/CloudCallBackPlugin/hostname/CloudBackPlugin
- Log on to the mid tier Configuration Tool, using the following link:
http://midTierHost:portNumber/arsys/shared/config/config.jsp
http://SanJoseMidTier:8080/arsys/shared/config/config.jsp - In the left navigation pane, click Cache Settings.
- Click Flush Cache.
- Go to Configuration > AR Settings > General Settings.
- Configure the Enterprise AR System server load balancer IP or host name.
- Stop and restart the Tomcat service.
- Clear the browser cache.
