Verifying data collection in the BMC ProactiveNet Server

The BMC ProactiveNet Data Collection Host installation configures the BMC ProactiveNet Integration Service on each BMC ProactiveNet Server (leaf or landing servers). After you enable data collection for all attributes, the next auto-sync process on the BMC ProactiveNet Server updates the newly added application classes.

To verify data collection in the BMC ProactiveNet Server

1. For each BMC ProactiveNet Server, log on to the BMC ProactiveNet Operations Console.
2. In the navigation tree, select All Devices, and then select the Grid View.
3. Select a device that is monitored by the BMC Performance Manager for Virtual Servers Knowledge Modules.
4. For any monitor type, such as CPU, Memory, Disk, or Network, select Tools > Show Graph.
5. Select the Attributes & Indicators tab.
   All the discovered attributes are displayed, verifying data collection.
