License entitlements for TrueSight Cloud Cost Control
To leverage the TrueSight Cloud Cost Control capabilities, you must first install the following shared architectural components of TrueSight Capacity Optimization:
- Remedy Single Sign-On (user authentication)
- TrueSight Presentation Server
- Application Server
- (Optional) Gateway Server
- (Optional) Capacity Agent
In addition to the TrueSight Cloud Cost Control features available from the TrueSight Presentation Server, when you purchase the TrueSight Cloud Cost Control license, you receive the license rights to the following TrueSight Capacity Optimization features:
- TrueSight Capacity Optimization console with Admin and Workspace sections (for the sole purpose of data feed configuration and health check)
- The following connectors or ETL modules:
- Amazon Web Services - AWS Cost and Usage Extractor
- Microsoft Azure - Cost and Usage Extractor
- Google Cloud Platform - Billing and Usage Extractor
- Amazon Web Services - AWS API Extractor
- Microsoft Azure - Azure API Extractor
- Google Cloud Platform - GCP API Extractor
- BMC - TrueSight Capacity Optimization Gateway VIS files parser
- BMC - TrueSight Operations Management 10.1/10.5/10.7/11.0/11.3 extractor
- BMC - TrueSight Operations Management 10.1/10.5/10.7/11.0/11.3 Generic extractor
- BMC - Atrium CMDB extractor
- VMware vCenter modules
- Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization - Extractor service
- All open ETL modules (CSV, SQL) to import other feeds of performance or BizSvc that are not supported out of the box.
- Capacity Agent and Gateway Server for the purpose of utilization data feed (for example to cover KVM and HyperV).
You must possess a TrueSight Capacity Optimization license to use the Capacity Agent and Gateway Server components for capacity planning activities.
