Analyzing a project

BMC AMI Change Manager for IMS provides you with an option to analyze the impact of changes that you have made to the objects before you decide to save and implement these changes.

To analyze a project using the Analyze Project option from the Projects menu, complete the following steps.

  1. From the main screen, from the Projects menu, select or search for a project.
  2. Click Analyze Project.
    The Project Change Summary area displays the changes that you have made to the objects. If you have not made any changes after the last commit operation, Zero differences found is displayed as shown below.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
