Converting DELTA IMS global options to CM IMS TM — ISPF conversion dialog utility
To convert DELTA IMS Global options to CM IMS TM
In the DELTA IMS Conversion utility panel, (see ISPF conversion dialog utility set-up) select option 2, Global Options - Convert Global options.

Specify the DELTA IMS (DLA) and CM IMS TM (DLP) options libraries below.
Then press Enter to create the DLP Global Options using data from the DLA
Global Options.
After conversion you may enter GL on the command line to review/update
the converted options.
Note: These two products may use the same options library.

_ Replace existing CM IMS TM Global options
Fill in the fields according to the following table:

DLA options library (input)
Enter the name of the DELTA IMS options load library that contains the member DLA$GBL0.
DLP options library (output)
Enter the name of the CM IMS TM options library where you want to save the converted CM IMS TM Global Options member, DLP$GBL0.
If the library does not exist, you are prompted for allocation information.
DLP View Profile Library
Enter the name of the library for the CM IMS TM View Profiles. View Profiles are equivalent to keyword tables in DELTA IMS. This name is saved in the Global Options.
Replace existing CM IMS TM Global Options
Enter / to replace the CM IMS TM Global Options member if it already exists.
(optional) After conversion you can enter GL on the command line to review or update the converted options.

1CM IMS TM replaces BMCLINK with BMCXLINK and no longer uses a BMP to communicate with the IMS control region.
2CM IMS TM uses standard ISPF services for enqueuing the IMSID options.
