Preliminary tasks


For information about seamless authentication between BMC Change Management and Change and Configuration Management, see Integrating with BMC BladeLogic Client Automation.

Before you begin configuring Task Management System (TMS), ensure that the following tasks have been completed:

  • People and Company records have been created.
    For information about creating People and Company records, see People information.
  • Change and Configuration Management configuration has been completed (if using with BMC BladeLogic Client Automation).
  • LDAP configuration has been completed.
    For information, see Configuring LDAP with TMS on The AR System server.
