Adding your time zone
Out of the box, the Calendar provides predefined time zones. However, if your time zone is not available in this list, you can add your time zone in the Olson format.
To add your time zone
- Log on to BMC Remedy Mid Tier as an AR System Administrator.
Open the NGC:TimeZoneMapping form in New request mode.
Enter the following values:
Field Value Timezone ID GMT +/- time
Example: GMT-08:00Olson Timezone ID Area/Location
Example: America/New_YorkStatus New - Click Save.
Note
It is important that you set your time zone correctly. If your time zone is incorrect, you might see a difference in the time zones in your personal calendar when you import the iCalendar (ICS) files that you exported out of the Calendar.

Open the NGC:TimeZoneMapping form in 'New request' mode.
Value for 'Timezone ID' should be GMT +/- e.g. GMT-08:00
Value for 'Olson Timezone ID' should be in the form Area/Location e.g. America/New_York.
Value for Status should be New.
Click Save.

I try to find the NGC:TimeZoneMapping but is not available in 8.1.
What are the steps for 8.1? Thanks!
