Before you install this patch, you must have previously installed the Service Pack 1 (11.5.01) of the product. Patches are cumulative and contain all updates released after the service pack.

Applying the patch
The patch is applicable for the following TrueSight Capacity Optimization components: Application Server, ETL Engine, Capacity Agent, and Gateway Server.
Warning
Before applying this patch, ensure that you have an OS backup or a VM snapshot of servers on which the components are installed.
Applying the Patch consists of the following steps:
- Apply Patch to the Application Server and ETL Engine
- Apply Patch to the Gateway Server
- Apply Patch to the Capacity Agent
- Reinstall the Capacity Optimization plugin
