Defining and managing a cost model

A cost model describes how resource costs are charged to targets. The Chargeback > Cost models enables you to define different cost models to differentiate accounting methods or cost rates, or to charge targets in a variety of ways. Cost models enable you to associate cost objects with the targets that use them. This will enable you to generate the required chargeback information that is required for accounting.

To view cost models

Select Chargeback > Cost models. The Cost models page displays a list of all existing cost models that have been configured in TrueSight Capacity Optimization.
