Configuring polling interval

To get updates to the incident in Remedy IT Service Management (Remedy ITSM), BMC TrueSight polls Remedy ITSM periodically based on the polling interval. You can configure this polling interval as per your requirement. The duration of this time interval is in seconds.

To configure the polling interval

1. Open and edit the ibrsd.conf file located in the %IBRSD_HOME%/conf folder.
2. Set the value of the delaybetweenpolling property. For example, delaybetweenpolling = 5
   Note that the polling interval must be set to 30 seconds or less, and the default is 10 seconds.
