Configuring Control-M alarm field attributes

Starting with BMC Service Resolution 3.5, you can configure which alarm field attributes can be reflected in the work information of the incident. This capability helps you to send relevant information to enrich the incident.

The attributes can be configured in the ctmticket/etc/ file.

To configure alarm field attributes

  1. Open the ctmticket/etc/ file in a text editor.
  2. To include a field attribute in the work info log of the incident, set its value to 1. For example,

    • Y or Yes
    • N or No
  3. Save the file.
